RFID - Really Innovative

For me, working on RFID seemed too difficult in the beginning. I didn't even know how does it work. But now I have started to gather information about this thing. Its working is very simple.
   RFID has two parts:-
          1) An RFID reader and
          2) RFID Tag.
The RFID tag are of two types:-
          1) Passive Tag
          2) Active Tag
The tag is what we carry with ourselves as an identification tag. Now the RFID reader is designed to radiates Electromagnetic(RF) rays in the surroundings. For a passive tag when it comes under the vicinity of the reader it will get energised as the waves radiate will couple with its LC-tank circuit. Now the tag will radiate energy back according to its "Specific Code". Hence the RFID reader can get the appropriate code of the Tag with which it is contacting.
Again, the Active tag has its own power supply to work with. Hence it can radiate its code by itself and also the distance (range) is increased.

SSB Interview

Wow.. I am selected for the SSB interview this year. I have received my call letter. The SSB interview this time is on the 7th November. The army interview was the first ever interview that i gave and I'm happy to be selected for the SSB training. I am looking forward to it and also very much excited about the fact that I'm have got a chance to become a part of our Indian Army.
But there is a problem in this. I have spectacles with power 4.5. According to many of my friends there should be a gap of nearly 4 years after the laser surgery for removing specs has been done. I don't know about this correctly, but I'm trying to get into more details. Hope it would be in my favor. Eager to go for the SSB training.

Finally Exams are over....!!!!!

Hello folks...
So it has been a long time since I have last posted and the culprit this time is "Exams". Yes, I had my exams this week so I was busy reading since the last two weeks. Anyways the exams are now over and my blog is back on track.
Talking about my exams, it went absolutely fine without creating much of a problem for me. As usual I hadn't studied anything for the whole semester(taking forward the same tradition followed in the previous semesters...!!!!) and had to cover almost 60-65 % of the alloted syllabus of 5 subjects in just a mere 7 days. But somehow i managed it, thanx to the fact that i had payed attention in the class.
Now its time to start my project as I had described in my earlier posts. I have bought the RFID and the required tags from "Rhydolabz" via online shopping. Now my first target is to frame a program to interface the RFID with a microcontroller 'AT89C51'.
If someone could help me out please do come forward...Thank you..

ICREATE - Youth convention on Innovation & Technology

Entrepreneurship -  a quality which helps an innovative idea in ones mind to propel and succeed in realisation. It is an important quality oneneeds to develop in him/her to efficiently utilize talent.
I also attended the seminar "Icreate" at Gandhinagar on 11-Sept. It was  a seminar targeting the youth to come forward and take interest in Entrepreneurship. It was really a nice and informative seminar.
We were voluntarily chosen to go there from our college & it was worth a go. Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi was also present there and it was a huge crowd waiting there to listen to his speech. Also the co-founder of the well known IT company 'Infosys' - "Narayan Murthy" shared his views through Online conferencing.
After the Lunch it was the time to have some real discussion on Entrepreneurship. Firstly we had a really well educated & Knowledgeable Personnel in-front of us to share their views an then answer our questions. The information & guidance which they shared was really very motivating. All of them shared their thoughts one by one.
Then started the query session. The students or anyone sitting there could ask their questions, if any. These questions and their legitimate answers also were also useful to the ones hesitant to ask one.
In the end it was a real wonderful & knowledgeable experience at Gandhinagar.. I enjoyed a lot...

Einstein's Relativity Theory

Today I just went through one of Einstein's fascinating theory:- "The theory of Relativity". It is one of his greatest and one of the strangest physics theory. We all might be knowing about relative motion. But when we are approaching the speed of light the case differs from the other speed conditions.
I would like to share some useful links related to this theory..

My Final Year Project

So friends,
Introduction s complete, Now its time to make a project. I am making an 'RFID based Door Access System' as my final year project. Door Access system seems easy, but RFID is a bit typical to deal with. As I'm working with RFID for the first time, its creating some problems for me...
Selecting an appropriate RFID for the purpose, then finding a suitable RFID reader with compatible Tags is not easy when you are totally unknown to the RFID technology. I was facing a lot of problem first to select the RFID. But now I have decided to go with ID-12 RFID reader with its compatible EM4001 tag.
I have thought of buying the RFID online. there are many reliable sites offering RFID with less shipping time and reasonable cost...

Here's the datasheets of ID-12 and EM4001:-
